Construction Resource Manager
The Construction Resource Manager is responsible for managing, monitoring, and coordinating staff and equipment for Fowler Construction. In this role you will be responsible for balancing the needs of the business units and projects while providing support to the managers, supervisors, and forepersons.

Key Duties:
- Allocate and dispatch employees and equipment to projects as required, considering skillset, suitability, and requirements from the field.
- Organize and conduct weekly meetings with managers, key team members, and supervisors to plan and anticipate project needs, determine new project resources while optimizing master project schedule.
- Work with Fleet Manager regarding equipment repair schedule, equipment availability, and securing large equipment rentals, with a priority on maximizing owned equipment utilization.
- Responsible for the overall management of the hourly workforce. Support the Recruitment and Development processes.
- Initiate and carry out communication and negotiations with supervisors and project managers to form priorities considering cost effectiveness, efficiency, and project deadlines.
- Track and document the location of employees and equipment maintaining a record of each job site.
- Manage positive working relationships with Fowler employees.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education is preferred (Business, Engineering).
- Previous management experience in a civil construction environment
- Exceptional organization skills: the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills –negotiating, relationship building, conflict resolution, leadership.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Conditions:
- Position is based out of the Bracebridge office location.
- Travel to various sites may be required.
- Weekend and evening work may be required to meet the demands of the position.
Wage is commensurate with experience.

- Construction Management: 3 years (preferred)
