Beach sand has some silt content to ensure that it sticks together when wet. It’s perfect for building sand castles on the beach!
Similar to beach sand, but with slightly less silt so that water will drain through better and not turn to mud when it rains.
Drainage sand is sand that has little or no silt content so that water flows through quickly.
Granular A gravel is a mixture of sand and crushed rock 1” in diameter and smaller. It’s used for the surface of roadways, parking areas and driveways. Keep your driveway from turning to mud in the springtime.
Granular B gravel is a mixture of sand and stone. The stone is larger in Granular B than Granular A – typically 6” and smaller, and it’s used as a base material for building roadways, parking areas and driveways.
